Educational Philosophy:

As an educator with twenty-nine years of experience, I believe every child is unique and deserves an education that nurtures their academic, creative, and spiritual growth. Teaching is a vocation. It is an opportunity to guide students in developing their God-given talents through inquiry, research, and hands-on learning. I value collaboration and lifelong learning, seeking to inspire and to use our gifts to serve others and glorify God in all we do.

Educational Interests:

My educational interests center on understanding each child as a unique learner. I am passionate about differentiation to support individual student needs. I value cross-curricular connections that deepen understanding and engagement. I am particularly interested in fostering inquiry, creativity, and risk-taking in a learning environment.

Instructional Specialties

I am comfortable teaching all subjects from K to grade 8. Music is my specialty. I love teaching music theory at all levels, including at the secondary school level.

Areas I Do Not Cover:

High School math, the sciences and French are not my strengths.
