This combination is tailored to the inventive student who likes to understand and participate in the entire creative process. Students will learn how to bring these various aspects of design and construction together to create an individualized final project. The resulting product will integrate a microprocessor, actuators, and structures which have been designed by the student.

This course is fairly involved and needs to be completed over both semesters (full year) since there is a wide range of topics covered and integrated together. It is not effective to cram so many different ideas together too quickly. Creative design is a key component to this course and it is something that is very hard to rush.
